WE WERE STARS FOR THE NIGHT!

 

Friday 16th September was host to our very first Starlight Walk in Bishop’s Stortford. The night saw over 240 walkers invading the town and surrounding areas as they embarked on the 5 mile trek. The night stayed clear and dry for the walkers and everyone was still in high spirits as they crossed the finishing line. Over £18,000 has been pledged, which is a fantastic amount so thank you to everyone who took part!

 

 

If you have raised sponsorship or would like to make a donation please send a cheque made payable to St Clare Hospice to Starlight Walk Team, St Clare Hospice, Hastingwood Road, Hastingwood, Essex, CM17 9JX. St Clare Hospice currently only receives 24% funding from the NHS towards our £2.6 million annual running costs, we have to raise over £5,000 a day just to stay open and to continue offering our services to local people. Therefore the money you have raised in sponsorship really will make a huge difference. Everyone who sends their sponsorship money by Friday 28th October will be entered into a prize draw to win some well earned pamper prizes! Please do remember to send your completed sponsor form so that we can claim back gift aid.
