Get Involved - Remembrance

The Light up a Life cermonies held at Dunmow, Epping, Harlow, Loughton, Newport, Ongar, Hatfield Heath and Waltham Abbey were once again a success thanks to our supporters generosity.  These cermonies which are important for so many reasons can only be made possible thanks to the good will and hard work put in by friends and supporters of St Clare Hospice, and of course the people who attended the cermonies. So, on behalf of everyone at St Clare Hospice we would like to thank you.

 

At Hastingwood over three hundred people attended our ceremony, many have a long association with the Hospice, some others were here for the first time.  Whoever they were and whatever had brought them here or to one of the other cermonies, they all shared in a time of reflection and remembrance for loved ones who are missed.

 

Our Light up a Life Appeal has raised £21,000, a truly magnificent sum, almost enough to cover the cost of running our In Patient Unit for the Christmas Period.  Thank you all, your gift of a light in memory of a loved one will make such a difference to someone who needs our care.
