Managing stock inventory
Training and supporting other volunteers to use the systems you have set up
Who will you be working with?
You will work alongside other volunteers at the St Clare Hospice retail office in Hastingwood. Suitable stock from the shops will be delivered direct to this office so there will be the opportunity to meet other volunteers, as well as retail staff who will support you in your volunteer role by providing information, advice and help to develop your skills.
What skills, experience and personal qualities will you need?
Experience of setting up own Ebay account will be beneficial however support and training will be given to someone who is IT proficient.
Experience in working within a warehouse/distribution centre or packing centre.
You will need to be able to work independently plus be able to hand over the work load at the end of your shift to ensure that any sold items are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
We are looking for confident, friendly, reliable, hard working, adaptable people who are willing to learn and happy to work as part of a team.

Volunteer drivers needed
At St Clare Hospice, Volunteer Driver’s provide a vital service to patients and carers, who have no other means of transportation and would otherwise not be able to access the specialist service that we offer to our patients.
For some patients being able to attend Day Therapy is a life line for them and for relatives , Volunteer Drivers allow them to visit their loved ones whilst they are an In Patient at the Hospice.
