2012 10k Run Results       2012 10k Prize Winners

 

Thank you to the 500 runners who registered to take part in this year's 10k road race around Hastingwood! A big congratulations to Thurrock Harriers who won ALL of the following prizes - first man (Alex Houghton in 34:11), first lady (Tracy Swindell in 39:08), first men's club AND first ladies club.

We are hoping to raise over £15,000 from this one event to help care for people with life limiting illnesses in West Essex and East Hertfordshire. It costs £2.7 million every year for us to provide our services free of charge and we only receive 24% of our funding from the NHS. So every penny of sponsorship that you have raised will make a huge difference to the hospice. We would be very grateful if you could return any sponsorship you have raised by Friday 4th May to 10k Run Team, St Clare Hospice, Hastingwood Road, Hastingwood, Essex, CM17 9JX.

 

The hospice would like to thank Harlow Running Club, Rowan Buoy and his team of time keepers, Trekkers, Mikes of Sawbridgeworth, Harlow Scouts, Harlow Sea cadets and North Weald Airfield for their help and generosity in donating their time or services to help with the smooth running of the event.
