The St Clare Hospice annual 10k run is back again and we want YOU to be part of it!

 

Join us on Sunday 1st  April 2012 at 10.30am at the Hospice on Hastingwood Road. We are looking for 600 runners to help us raise £20,000 towards the £2.7 million we need every year to run the hospice so that we can continue providing care free of charge to our patients and their families.

 

Whether you are an experienced or novice runner, it is going to be a great run with prizes for everyone! You will receive your own goody bag, medal and t-shirt. Family and friends are welcome to come along on the day to support you, with a BBQ awaiting your return.

 

Registration costs £12 (or £10 for affiliated runners) and you can register by downloading the registration form or signing up online.  Please note that you must be aged 15 years or above to take part in the run.

 

£20 could pay for art and craft materials for two weeks, allowing our Day Therapy patients to make creative items to take home for their loved ones

£40 could provide one hour of counselling by our specialist team

£100 could provide advice and support from our Therapy Team to help one patient return home

£175 could run our entire In-patient Unit for one hour, caring for eight local families

 

£200 could provide all of our patients with a wonderful choice of home cooked foods

 

We do hope that every runner will try to raise as much sponsorship as possible.
